Certified Public Accountant with over 30 years’ experience in both Industry from 1991 to 1997 and since 1997 in Public Practice.
Frank is a native of Kildare Town. He established McMahon & Co Accountants in February 2004 in the box room of his house. Frank started with 13 clients, all of whom are still with the company.
As a result of referrals from clients the business grew rapidly which necessitated the need for an extra pair of hands. This led to Frank’s wife Laura Gilroy joining him to develop the business further.
In October 2004 the box room and kitchen returned to the use of the house as the business moved to its first offices on Bride Street, Kildare Town. This move again proved fruitful and the client referrals kept adding to the client base. Again, it was not long before the business outgrew these offices and required more staff.
In June 2006 the business moved to modern purpose designed offices on Claregate Street, Kildare Town. The business then moved again to a new premises in 2017 on Academy Street and now employs 14 people and is an approved employer partner with the CPA offering training opportunities to people studying for the CPA exams.
