15 years ago today I started my self-employed adventure. All suited and booted I settled into my new office in the spare bedroom of my 3 bed semi d, ready to serve to the best of my ability my 13 customers.

How the last 15 years have flown and what a fantastic journey. From the spare room to a rented office on Bride Street. The first employee, my then girlfriend and now wife and mother of my children Laura. Then to a rented office on Claregate Street to allow for expansion. More employees and each of them great people who helped me on my journey. The sharing of the burden with my business partner Karl and our move to our own building in 2017.

I am so grateful to all of the people I have encountered over this period, my family, wife, children, my co-workers and colleagues and their families. We are a great team and support and encourage each other on our professional and personal journeys.

My original 13 customers have grown and I have met and enjoyed working with fine people from all walks of life. I enjoy serving my customers and I will always give them the best I can because I remember the feeling of anxiety and excitement in the box room in 2004.

Here’s to the next 15 years and one day at a time, I hope it does not go by as quickly as the first 15 years.
