Are you eligible for free travel from 29 July?

From 29 July 2024, you’ll qualify for the Free Travel Scheme, if you are aged over 17 and under 66 and:
- Have never been able to drive due to a disability
- Have been medically certified as ‘not fit to drive’ for at least 12 months.
This means you’ll be able to travel for free on public transport including:
- Iarnród Éireann trains
- Bus Éireann buses
- Dublin Bus
- DART
- Luas tram services
- and more
