CWPS – Contruction Workers Sick Pay Trust

| Due to a very recent Labour Court recommendation, the Construction Workers Sick Pay Trust and CWPS Trustee Board ratified a rate increase to the employer sick pay contribution to the CWPS along with the operational changes needed to mirror the recommendation. The changes were approved on Friday 28th June, and are effective from 1st July 2024. |

| Changes to the CWPS Sick Pay The CWPS will still operate a 3-day exclusion period on all new claims for sick pay. However, they will now pay a rate of €125 per day for the first 5 days of a claim in a calendar year and then €50 per day thereafter, up to a maximum of 50 working days per calendar year as was previously the case.
