Employment Regulation Order (ERO) for the Security Industry – From 4th September 2023

A new ERO for the security industry came into effect on 4th September 2023 and provides for the following minimum rates of pay:
| Hourly Rate of Pay | Categorically of Worker |
| €12.90 | Worker for the third year and over working in the security industry. |
| €9.03 | Workers aged under 18 years. |
| €10.32 | First year of employment for those commencing employment for the first time aged 18 and over, or from 18th to 19th birthday in respect of existing employees. |
| €11.61 | Second year of employment for those commencing employment for the first time aged 18 and over, or from 19th to 20th birthday in respect of existing employees. |
